Where to Eat?

We are extremely lucky to have high quality cafes and restaurants in the surrounding areas. Coldingham is 1.9miles away - it's about a 35 minute walk from site.

Coldingham

Coldingham has 2 pubs. The Anchor has a great beer garden but currently does not provide a food offering.

The New Inn serves food and booking is recommended during the summer months.

While the village of Coldingham doesn't have a dedicated cafe, you can get your caffeine fix at The Luckenbooth in the village square. The Luckenbooth is also the Post Office! It serves coffee and has a small number of tables inside and some picnic benches outside.

St Abbs

For all St Abbs is a very small village it boasts 3 cafes.

The Old School Cafe is in the village before you go down to the Harbour and offers seating inside and out. We supply afternoon teas in the pods. You can pre-book an Afternoon Tea (in Vegetarian or Gluten Free Options if required) when you make your booking and it will be ready and waiting for you in your pod for your arrival.

Ebb Carrs is located down at the Harbour and is licensed. A visit here for the Cullen Skink is well worth it.

The Borders Pottery is located at the National Trust site just before you get to St Abbs.

Eyemouth

Eyemouth is the ideal spot to enjoy fish and chips and home made gelato sitting around the harbour or on the beach. Giacopazzis provides fish & chips to sit in or takeaway as well as a separate Gelato Parlour.

The Waterfront Cafe does a fantastic Sunday lunch (often sold out) with a takeaway option. Please contact them directly.

Rialto Coffee Co Is a vegetarian cafe with vegan options. The cakes are home baked and literally to die for. One of the best coffee and cake venues........ever!

The Ship on the harbourside has a great specials board and a menu that covers all bases. It's one of our favourite places to eat!

Oblo Bar & Restaurant is an award winning Style Bar & Bistro situated on the harbour front of Eyemouth. From its first floor location, with a street-facing floor to ceiling ‘porthole’ and balcony, Oblò provides the perfect surroundings in which to sit back, relax and watch the world go by. Open from early morning until late, Oblò offers a fantastic range of food, snacks, coffees and drinks throughout the day, served in modern, ambient, urban surroundings.

Lough's  The best filled rolls you'll find anywhere! A proper family bakery with fantastic cakes and pastries to take away. It's a proper bakery and highly recommended by Braeview!

Dean Mark Deli & Butcher Not only can you pick up all your BBQ goodies here, they do fantastic boxed salads (healthy option) as well as ready meals. You can also get lots of rubs and flavourings to enhance your BBQ experience.
